Other case studies and fun side projects
In my final university year, I had fun building a small startup with some friends in which we designed a plant accessories focusing on making it easier to know when and how much to water your plants.
I got involved in a project for Imperial College London to re-invent how they did gift giving for large donors. I created these fun pentomino shaped chocolates which asked donors "What does clever taste like?"
I worked alongside a PhD student to build a VR therapy app that helped treat social anxiety. The purpose was to validate if VR could helped people cope with social anxiety. The paper he wrote can be accessed here.
I ran a restaurant called Paladar51 in which I hosted people in my living room each second Saturday to a roaring success! Sadly I closed the restaurant during Covid.
And there's more...
Wrote a behavioural design paper focusing on the blurred boundary between work and home which can be found here.
Big lover of creating renders and visualising design in 3D space (which was useful when planning the layout of my flat 😉)
I joined a 48-hour competition with friends and won by designing a solution to recycle waste heat for home heating.
Using different behavioural frameworks, I designed a smart bracelet concept to help people get into the habit of mindfulness.
